#1: LOONIE 

The real name is Marlon 'Loonie' Peroramas. He's one of the reasons why I really like FlipTop. I'm an avid fan of him. Some people call him as 'The King of the Rap Battlefield'.

Loonie is the most viewed battle emcee in youtube and is known for his wordplay, witty lines and reputation as one of the most feared freestylist in the Philippines. He's also an apprentice of Francis Magalona, The King of Rap.

The first FlipTop Battle that I have watched on youtube was his. Since then, I keep an eye on him. Now, he's become one of the most popular artist in country and been able to perform with respected artists in the industry like Gloc-9 and Dice.

In addition, he's a member of one of the most followed rap groups here in the Philippines, the Stickfiggas, along with his best friend Ron Henley.

His songs 'Tao Lang' and 'From Saudi with Love' became popular. 'Tao Lang' was my favorite. One thing that I really like about Loonie is that he writes songs about social issue. And one of these is 'Bago ang Lahat'.
